Amélie loved staying up late for the Jubilee concert!

We took Amélie to visit Stefan in Stockholm for a week whilst Felix stayed at home with Oma and Opa. Amélie was very excited to go into an aeroplane for the second time in her life (and first time she could remember!).

We were very lucky to be able to join into this annual tradition at school by sharing a tent with Amélie’s great friend Lottie. Apart from the excitement of sleeping in a tent there was marshmallow toasting and bike riding which Amélie mastered on her own for the first time! The setting was glorious, the sunset beautiful and a cooked breakfast just the thing at dawn!

After a special day of Royal Wedding dressing up and celebrations at Amélie’s school we enjoyed yet another Bank Holiday weekend to celebrate the wedding of William and Kate which we shared with friends in our village.
