We had another great two weeks with Oma and Opa at the beach. This year we were on the 13th floor so the view was amazing as ever.

We enjoyed paddling in the sea…

…playing with sand and trucks…

…Dolly even got a new friend, Lotta…

…Felix got to spend time with his big friend Opa…

…Felix enjoyed the wide open space of the beach…

…many raisins were eaten…

…and shells collected…

…pancakes were shared (with Felix in particular)…

…windy walks were taken along the beach…

…of course we had to rent these every now and then…

…and fly a kite (but now that we bought a kids version it was nice and easy!)…

…and we ate ice cream as often as possible…

…and played games…

…and Amélie practiced her bike riding…

…and Felix was generally cute…

…flower shops were opened…

…and we enjoyed the usual seaside activities…

…and the grand finale was building a huge sandcastle (so impressive its remains were still visible several tides later!)

…and we were sad to say goodbye to our lovely view for another year!
