Amélie is slowly getting used to the idea of an addition to the family. Today ‘Baby Friend’ (this is what she decided to call the new baby) moved into the doll’s house and also made an appearance at the Lego dinner table.

Lego tower
Amélie was very sad to sad to say goodbye to Oma and Opa today but left behind her greatest lego creation to date (with just a little help from Opa).

Thank you Oma and Opa for a great new selection of toys.
Draw
In the last week Amélie has started drawing people (as seen here with a self-portrait) and has been enjoying the new easel which Oma and Opa bought for her.

Inspired by our new favourite tv programme we recreated our own Night Garden in lego this morning.
More Lego
Uncle Stefan wasn’t going to be outdone and managed to find an even bigger box of Lego…with a train set! The boys (and Amélie, of course) have been having lots of fun.

We have been very impressed with Amélie’s recent lego constructions. We thought this one, built whilst singing along to music, would rival the new Tate extension any day.
