Amélie is very sad that her 94 year old great-grandmother Mabi passed away on 28 September. She was Mabi’s 23rd great-grandchild and is very lucky to have visited her on many occasions in Antwerp.
Uncle Stefan’s panorama of Mabi’s room is a wonderful snapshot of how we remember her surrounded by all her family pictures and most precious belongings. How we wish we could go back to see her there sitting by the window doing her crossword.

Dear Francesca, dear Amelie, dear Nazz,
I am very sorry to hear about Mabi’s passing away. Please convey my condolences to Opa and Oma too. I suspected she wasn’t going well when I called you and no one was home a few days ago. Amelie was very lucky to be able to meet and know her.
