Stop Press: Amélie sleeps through the night for the first time.

Last night she fell asleep soon after her 7pm feed and didn’t wake again till 5am! I wish I had been able to sleep for the same period but unfortunately nobody warned the milk supply that it wouldn’t be needed and this did not make for the most comfortable night.

Amélie now weights 4.56kgs and measures 56cms. She is very alert, increasingly interested in her surroundings and giving us lots of smiles (which are proving difficult to photograph). She really enjoys lying under the mobile and makes all sorts of great noises like coos and grunts and gurgles. She has discovered her hands and likes sucking on them and loves it when you tickle her toes. I have put away (with some sadness) her newborn clothes and she is now wearing the 0-3 months size.
