We had a busy day which started off at the Serpentine Pavilion where Amélie had great fun with the giant red balls:

The Serpentine had a family workshop on so we did our bit by drawing our house on the big piece of paper and the route we took to get to the park. Amélie (helped by Papa) also made a helicopter to fly her to the park next time:

On the way home we stopped off to see some bees make honey. Eventhough we live in central London we have a wildlife garden just around the corner at the Natural History Museum. Amélie was fascinated by the ‘bee tree’ so much so that we had to go back again in the afternoon. She loved it when I opened and closed the little doors so that we could see the bees at work:

Then in the afternoon we went to the playground. Amélie is alot more independent and agile now and happily climbed up to the slide and slid down without our help. I think it was the first time I was able to sit down in a playground (where are those Belgian cafe’s when you need them!):

What a busy day!
