Amélie is two weeks old today and we took her outside for the first time.

It was also my first time outside since coming home from hospital. We showed her round our neighbourhood, looked at the trees and heard birds sing. We smelled freshly baked bread in the French bakery where we bought some much longed for chocolate »clairs. It was a very exciting outing. Its just a shame that Amélie slept through the whole experience.
