This afternoon Amélie took the camera out of its case, turned it on and took her first photo! Let this be the first of many.
I like the contrast between the clean lines and simple color planes on one side of the picture jxtaposed with the everyday messiness of human existence on the other side. I think it says much about the human condition, especialy if you consider the panda to be the everyman, staring from boxed-in constraints of daily living out at the freedom and emptiness of the great beyond. Amelie is a genius.
