We decided that one day was not enough to mark Amélie’s first birthday so started the celebrations this afternoon.

There was cake and champagne and new presents with which unprecedented mess could be made…

Having decided we weren’t going to have traditional godparents it took us a year to appoint Amélie’s guardian angels Neil and Miranda. We were very happy that they accepted.
