As Marta reminded me when she was here recently life doesn’t really change that much when you get married but once you have children things are never the same again. Very true. With this in mind it was especially nice to be able to spend time with close friends these last few weeks.

First Petra came over from Paris.

Then Marta from Madrid.

 
And Lizzie was over from New York so a trip to Cambridge was essential especially as the Macclesfield Psalter is currenly on display at the Fitzwilliam, saved thanks to the National Art Collections Fund.
