Finally she has arrived! Amelie Ahammad-Geens was born at 11.22pm on Saturday 17 September (the night of a harvest moon) at the Chelsea and Westminster Hospital, London.
She weighs 3.2kg and is 54 cm long. We think she is very cute. More news and pictures once we get some sleep but we are all doing very well.

Amélie Ahammad-Geens
Amélie Ahammad-Geens was born on a harvest moon to my sister Francesca and Nazz. She is beautiful, alert and strong, and she blogs….
Dear Amélie, Francesca & Nazz
Congratulations !
I hope you feel well, now that Amélie is here.
Kids are great even if they are not equipped with ON/OFF switch ÷ their logic circuit is anything but logic ÷ and are deeply controlled by the motherboard ÷
DonÌt panic! The first 20 years are the really stressing ones, after that itÌs ok.
We wish you all the happiness of the universe!
Beatriz (my 7 y.o. daughter) says Amélie is cute.

Congratulations on a wonderful choice of parents. They look absolutely radiant!

It was lovely to see her in London, but that was two whole days ago and now I think it’s time you put up some more pictures…!
sweat Amelie,
welcome to the world and to the family
dear Francesca and Nazz,
what a wonderful baby, she really is “een wolk van een dochter”, dutch expression for a very, very sweet and beautiful child. We hope to meet her soon so that we can hug her. We hope mother and father are doing well too.

Congratulations on your beautiful daughter with an equally beautiful name! She was almost born on the same day as my son (born 18 September, 2 years ago), another blogger! Enjoy your precious bundle as they have a tendency to grow up fast! Just a note on posting more ‘once you get some sleep’ as you say, er…..there will NEVER be any sleep from now on! But it’s all worth it!
